Air is a French electronic music duo formed in Versailles in 1995 by Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel. Known for blending electronic, pop, and space-rock influences, they gained international acclaim with their 1998 debut album, Moon Safari, and the hit single "Sexy Boy". They are also recognized for their atmospheric soundtracks, notably for Sofia Coppola's The Virgin Suicides.
